In March, 33 listings closed in Chaffee County, 94% more than last year and 32% more than last month. The median price for those homes was $688,100, 5% less than last year but 14% more than last month. Buyer activity lost momentum with 41 contracts executed, 8.9% less than last year. As a result, at the close of the month, 190 listings were actively for sale in Chaffee County, with 37 more than last month. Homes spent a median of 88 days on the market. Throughout March, sellers added 81 new listings to the market, 72% more than last year and 65% more than last month, reflecting typical seasonal trends.
